It was a lovely fine evening in Dunderry, setting the perfect stage for an exciting game of camogie.  

After their first round win the girls were hoping to build on this and started off strong with the first point of the game coming from Mischa Beggs setting the tone for the match. 

Trim kept up the momentum with an early goal coming from Chanel Massey.   Dunderry was not deterred, quickly retaliating with a point to keep the pressure on Trim. The back-and-forth continued, as Trim's defensive skilfully manoeuvred the ball up the pitch, resulting in another point from Bláthnaid Hughes. 

Trim maintained their offensive pressure, adding another point from play. Not to be outdone, Dunderry charged forward and scored a crucial goal shortly before half time adding to the intensity of the match.  Emma O’Neill and Ellen Birmingham then added their names to the scoresheet, contributing to Trim's growing lead.

As the second half commenced, Trim showed great determination to maintain their lead. The girls worked together, finding Chantel Massey, who, with a nice side step,  delivered once again, to the back of the Dunderry net.   Dunderry, resilient as ever, fought back and managed to score a goal of their own, keeping their hopes alive. 

Shona White then made her mark on the game by adding a point from a free for Trim.  The intensity of the match increased with both teams fighting hard for every ball.  Emma O’Neill displayed exceptional skill, finding the back of the net once more, further extending Trim’s lead. 

Despite Dunderry’s best efforts, Trim's defense held strong, making it challenging for Dunderry to close the gap.  Clíona Walsh (Capt) added another point for Trim, solidifying their dominant performance.
