David Boyle first to win the throw in using his strength to his advantage. Colm McGrath breaks up pitch to claim Trim’s first score of the game after Skryne took the upper hand with an early goal and a few points to keep the visitors behind. A hard hitting game sees Trim struggling to keep the scoreboard moving in their favour missing out on some score-able kicks. The Trim lads never dropping their heads went into the half time knowing they had a lot to recover in the second half after letting Skryne get a strong foot ahead.

For the supporters it was clear the management team put in a great half time speech to the lads as they came out all guns blazing in the second half. Some great defensive work sees a quick turnover as Trim burst up the pitch as the ball ends with Daniel Fox who claims a great score for himself starting the half off in the perfect manner for the boys in red. The hard hits were coming in from both sides with our lads keeping the head while everything seemed to be going on around them. Winning the opposition kick out David Boyle takes it on himself to power through the home team’s defence as he raises the orange flag for a lovely 2 pointer kick. With the end line in sight Trim’s comeback looked strong, but with referee calls going against them and the time slowly running out the deficit was just to much for this team to over turn. As the final whistle blows the lads are left 3 points behind.
