💥U17’s Secure Spot in League Final by a point!💥

⚡Our superstar Under 17’s fought hard for their place in the Div 3 final next week when they played Sinonstown at home on Wednesday last.

⚡On what was another glorious evening in Trim, the U17’s made hard work of the win giving all the strong sideline support a number of coronary episodes throughout the game. With a strong start it looked like Sinonstown had the upper hand which gave the home team a hop as Trim had been the dominant team when they had met in the rounds.

💪Simonstown have come on in leaps and bounds since the 2 sides last met early on in the season and absolute credit to them on the night for giving the home team a game they had to dig deep and fight hard to win, which they did by the tightest of margins.

💪This game went right to the wire as the home side pulled themselves together, bolstered by a couple of late substitutions to hold on to the lead which was, at no time guaranteed as the visitors were as determined to secure their place.

👏Well done Simonstown on a very entertaining, competitive and well played game. Maith sibh 👏

The final is set for this Wednesday evening at home. It would be great to give the team some strong home support on the night as they take on rivals for the tittle St. Pat’s.
