Our U15s enjoyed their best performance of the year tonight, and what a time to put it all together in the Shield Final.  Trim really learned a lot as a team from their participation in U15 Féile competition.

Both teams served up a most enjoyable match as they skillfully fought for every ball out there.
Trim were very focused, best this year, as they played from the first whistle with lots of determination and skill and had a directness to their play which was too strong on the night for the opposition.

Communicating and encouragement were key factors to the way Trim hurled, making themselves available, telling each other where to hit it, followed by the right supporting runs.  It was a pleasure to see from the sidelines.

Kildalkey were very strong too, a team full of talented hurlers, they played very good hurling with some delightful passages of team play.

There really wasn't much between the sides, just that Trim converted more of their goal chances.

The whole panel contributed brilliantly tonight.   Trim changed positions and came off and on seamlessly, with every player being a star, and it was great to see the smiles at the end to top off their U15 camogie year.

Thanks to all the parents for encouraging and helping these talented group of girls train and attend their games.

A lot of our girls have very bright futures on the sporting fields of Meath, and it is brilliant to see them develop into great athletes, great teammates and great people
