What a fantastic day in St. Loman’s Park last Sunday as we welcomed two big hurling games, with big crowds, a brilliant atmosphere and everything running smoothly.

A massive thank you to our volunteers, who gave their time to make sure the day was so well organised — from preparing the grounds and welcoming the visiting teams and supporters, to parking, stewarding and everything in between. 👏

We were incredibly proud to showcase our club and facilities and to give everyone a warm CLG Átha Troim welcome.  

Behind every big game hosted by a Club are volunteers giving their time to make it happen. Our Clubs work incredibly hard to provide and maintain the facilities that allow these games to take place, and while everything may not always be available on a particular day, that shouldn’t take away from the huge effort and commitment that goes on behind the scenes.    We’d love to see the media focus more on how well Clubs host these games, making the most of the facilities and resources available to them on the day.
