A brilliant performance from the girls as Trim came away with a well-deserved victory over Drumree in the Junior A Championship!
Trim were in control from the outset and stayed ahead throughout, with excellent team play and strong performances right across the pitch. Ailbhe Hannan started the game in midfield before being moved into full forward, where she made a huge impact and went on to complete a fantastic hat-trick.
Chantal Massey contributed some excellent scores, while Deirbhile Clifford stepped up to take a number of frees and calmly converted several opportunities. The Trim backs defended brilliantly throughout, with the whole defensive unit working hard to keep Drumree under pressure.
Nessa Slattery, despite carrying an injury, came on and made an impact in centre field before moving back into centre half back, while Leah Boyle started the game at full back before moving into full forward and making an impact in attack.
A fantastic all-round team performance, with plenty of great play from the girls right across the field.
